My name is Sally Sturgess and I am an artist specialising in animals – domestic pets and wildlife. I work mainly in pastels in a realistic style, and pride myself on creating a true likeness that captures the personality of the subject. I am an animal and nature lover and am always happiest drawing what I love. I live in rural countryside on the Nottinghamshire / Lincolnshire border in the UK, and am inspired by my beautiful surroundings.
